Dr. Kaz Uyesugi has been practicing exceptional outstanding dentistry for more than 25 years. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California in Berkeley and then went onto obtain his dental degree at the University of the Pacific in 1985.
After dental school, Dr. Kaz Uyesugi completed his general practice residency at Valley Medical Center in June 1986. Residency training allowed him to expand his skills and interests in all phases of dentistry, extending his education far beyond his training in dental school. Using the knowledge he obtained during residency in Fresno California, cosmetic dentist Dr. Kaz Uyesugi has expanded the range of services to include pedodontic and sedation dentistry. He specializes in a wide variety of cosmetic and restorative dental procedures and works with his patients to get the results they have always desired.
Dr. Kaz Uyesugi has attended numerous continuing education courses, continuums, and seminars, to remain at the forefront of cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Kaz Uyesugi believes that excellence in dentistry lies in the relationships that he develops with his patients. Only after listening to his patient’s goals and concerns does he attempt to address their dental needs. When planning care, he includes each patient as an active partner in the decision-making process to ensure that the outcome satisfies his patient's’ desires and needs.

Dr. Uyesugi is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the current president of the Northern California Affiliate of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Uyesugi is also one of the founding members of the San Jose Study Group, which is a chapter of the Seattle Study Club. He currently serves as a restorative advisor.
